About us
Established in 2002, the Emergency Preparedness and Response Program supports Health Center Partners’ member community health centers in San Diego, Riverside, and Imperial Counties to prepare for public health emergencies.
The program assists Health Center Partner’s member community health centers in their preparation for public health emergencies through direct support and representation at the State, Local, Tribal, and Territorial (SLTT) levels.
Some examples include:
Representation in the medical/health disaster councils of all three-member counties (San Diego, Riverside, and Imperial).|DJ Phalen serves on the evacuation subcommittee of the San Diego Hospital Disaster Council representing health centers
Member of the California Primary Care Association (CPCA) Clinic Emergency Preparedness Peer Network (CEPPN).
SME for U.S. Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) ASPR TRACIE (Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR)/Technical Resources, Assistance Center, and Information Exchange (TRACIE)
Membership in the San Diego Hospital Preparedness Program (HPP)
Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) certified which is the preferred training and exercise format for CMS, SWMHE, state agencies, etc.
Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Survey & Certification Group (SCG) Emergency Preparedness Basic Surveyor Training Course.
