Dr. Michael Rakotz of the American Medical Association will be sharing his expertise regarding self-measured blood pressure monitoring (SMBP). SMBP plus additional clinical support is one strategy that can reduce the risk of disability or death due to high blood pressure. SMBP is defined as regular measurement of blood pressure by the patient outside the clinical setting, either at home or elsewhere. There will be time for Q & A.
