In 2024, Health Center Partners of Southern California joined the statewide My Vote. My Health.™ campaign to encourage civic engagement among community health center patients, staff, and communities. This initiative is an expansion of the Integrated Civic Engagement Model (ICEM) under the leadership of AltaMed Health Services and the MCalifornia Primary Care Association (CPCA) with CHC civic engagement hubs throughout California. The initiative is a coordinated effort that links community health providers and local civic engagement organizations to help increase civic participation and build power in some of the state's most underserved and under-resourced communities. The MVMH campaign aims to build transformational change, mobilize communities, and improve the quality of life of communities across California. In the San Diego region, CPCA's partner organizations for this initiative are HCP, San Ysidro Health, Neighborhood Healthcare, and Engage San Diego.
