The TCE Civic Engagement Grant, titled “My Vote. My Health.™”, aims to mobilize community health center (CHC) patients, staff, providers, and communities in California to address social and political determinants of health by encouraging voter participation in the 2024 primary and general elections. Running from October 1, 2023 to January 31, 2025, and funded by the California Primary Care Association (CPCA) and The California Endowment (TCE), this initiative seeks to create CHC civic engagement hubs throughout the state. Led by AltaMed and CPCA, the Integrated Civic Engagement Model (ICEM) links health care providers with local civic organizations to boost civic participation, aiming to transform underserved communities and improve quality of life. Partners include Health Center Partners of Southern California, San Ysidro Health, Neighborhood Healthcare, Engage San Diego, The Center, and Alliance SD.
