The TCE Policy and Advocacy Grant is designed to advance health policy and advocacy, build an equitable health care workforce, and enhance community engagement and mobilization. The program aims to redefine health care’s role in promoting community health and addressing root causes of disease through ongoing advocacy at various levels, bridging primary care with public health systems, and advocating for health system transformation under CalAIM. It also focuses on creating a culturally responsive workforce, increasing awareness and utilization of allied health workers, and developing career pathways through innovative partnerships. Additionally, the grant seeks to engage health center patients and community members in advocating for health equity and policy changes, ensuring fundamental needs are met and opportunities are accessible for all.
